CAF MIIRA BUSINESS POLICY: MANAGEMENT COMMITMENT
The purpose of CAF is to develop sustainable transportation solutions that improve people’s lives. We understand that the future of transportation depends on our ability to combine innovation, efficiency, and responsibility in all our activities. That is why we consider Sustainability a fundamental pillar that guides our decisions, acting as an umbrella that covers and integrates the key aspects of our business.
Our comprehensive approach to Sustainability allows us to address, in a coordinated manner, the issues that are material to CAF. For each material issue, CAF has published its corporate policies¹ on its website as a key tool for integrating sustainability into our culture, strategy, and operations, contributing to a positive impact on society and the environment.
As a business unit within CAF, compliance with corporate policies is mandatory. Therefore, we are committed to ensuring that:
- They are communicated and understood among the affected individuals within the business.
- They are implemented by establishing the required processes and/or activities and providing the necessary resources for their execution.
- They are made available to relevant stakeholders, as appropriate.
Additionally, those policies whose management systems are certifiable within CAF MIIRA will be adopted as a basis and direct reference for application in our business. These policies include:
- QUALITY EXCELLENCE POLICY
- PRODUCT AND SERVICE SAFETY POLICY
- ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
- CORPORATE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
- CYBERSECURITY POLICY
